A text encrypted in a QR code seems like the Rosetta Stone, something absolutely undecipherable for our nervous system but immediately legible if it is photographed with a device containing an application capable of tracing back to the original meaning. In a not so distant future, perhaps we will have devices capable of instantly translating Egyptian or Sumerian texts with a single click. The passage from an abstract, illegible image to one that is immediately decipherable has something magical about it, as if our brain had gained access to an unknown dimension.
